Welcome to Detroit Nepali Students!

Namaste! Landing at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) and heading to the University of Toledo, OH? We understand the challenges of navigating a new city, especially after a long flight. That's why we are here to help!

Since there's no direct public transportation from DTW to Toledo, we offer convenient and affordable airport pickup services provided by fellow Nepali community members. We also understand settling into a new place can be tough. To ease your transition, we offer a starter kit with a SIM card to connect you and a temporary accommodation option (up to 30 days) as a paying guest. Feeling overwhelmed navigating grocery stores? We offer grocery pickup services to introduce you to essential items and simplify your shopping experience. All these services are provided for a fee, with a portion going towards funding future events and initiatives organized by the Nepali Student Organization at the University of Toledo. This is a collaborative effort between the Nepali Community of Greater Toledo, and the Nepali Student Organization at the University of Toledo to smoothen your transition as a Nepali international student.
